Vintage Native American Beadwork Necklace with Medallion Pow Wow Regalia

Beautiful Native American beadwork necklace with medallion.  Am not sure of the tribal affiliation  - may be Sioux.  Primarily green and white beads with some black.  The green picks up sunlight beautifully.  The medallion has an interesting design, which is matched on the area of the necklace over the shoulders. Fringe on medallion features long black beads.   The necklace band is about 1 inch wide.
Necklace from neck to bottom of medallion is about 15".  To bottom of fringe beads is about 18".
At the back of the neck, there are what appear to be two letters incorporated in the necklace, perhaps initials of the artist. Maybe PW? PV? RV?
I do not find any flaws in the necklace.  It was part of my mother's extensive collection of Native American jewelry.
